At Dragonfly Commerce, I managed the end-to-end development of consumer products across diverse categories including kitchenware, home goods, automotive accessories, specialty tools, and cleaning solutions. Partnering with domestic and international manufacturers, I launched an average of 100 new products annually while overseeing product strategy, technical development, compliance, packaging, and e-commerce execution. This experience strengthened my ability to identify market opportunities, navigate complex supply chains, and bring innovative products to market across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and other retail channels.

Process

  • PRODUCT Pitches are analyzed with a leading OEM and an initial ROI calculation. Asana is used to manage the process, with CAD designs and 3D mockups sent to vendors for estimates on FOB, mold/sample fees, MOQ, packaging, import tariffs, shipping, and Amazon fees.

  • Research is driven by data analytics, social media trends and customer reviews using tools like Seller Central, Jungle Scout, Keepa, and Helium 10, along with customer reviews and "wish list" requests.

  • Samples and molds undergo multiple reviews and refinements until they meet preproduction standards. These are then presented to the team for bulk production approval, backed by final reviews of market analysis, OEM sales rankings, customer feedback, and a refined ROI calculation.

  • Once approved, production begins with the MOQ request, finalization of materials, and spec approvals. During the average 25-30 day production period, I lead cross-functional teams in developing packaging, listing copy, keywords, and PDP assets.

  • Completed assets—SDS, bulk product images, packaging, carton dimensions, and third-party inspections—are finalized before goods are shipped or aired, ensuring that a minimum of 200 units reach Amazon warehouses for the initial launch.

  • The product is launched on Amazon Seller Central with finalized assets, including pricing, title, product descriptions, specs, materials, instructions, keywords, and PDP images.

  • Initial Post-launch reviews are conducted after one and three months, focusing on customer engagement through backend analytics such as click-through rates, time on listing, sales, returns, and reviews. Based on the data, we implement updates such as title and keyword revisions, improved imagery, and instructions, or initiate promotions and price adjustments to optimize performance.
